About Serfolio
Serfolio is a two-sided marketplace that connects people ready to contribute with organizations that have meaningful projects waiting to be done. Participants contribute their skills for free, while organizations pay for structured project support.
We believe people want to contribute to causes that matter. But finding the right opportunity — one that matches your skills, fits your schedule, and creates real impact — has always been difficult. Serfolio solves this by turning organizational needs into structured, clearly defined projects that anyone can complete.
Serfolio grew out of experience connecting young people with meaningful service and project opportunities through NexaYouth, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Serfolio was created to make it easier for participants to find substantive opportunities and for organizations to structure meaningful projects.
Serfolio is an affiliated platform of NexaYouth, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Serfolio payments are currently processed through NexaYouth's payment infrastructure.
Every project on Serfolio benefits an outside community, partner organization, or the public. Organizations post defined projects with clear deliverables. Participants apply, contribute, and submit their work. Upon approval, participants build a documented contribution record they can share with schools, employers, and licensing authorities.
