Every project on Serfolio is structured, reviewed, and verified. Here are the protections built into the platform.

Every organization is reviewed before approval. We verify legal status, mission alignment, and legitimacy before they can post opportunities.

Each opportunity is screened for safety, educational value, and compliance. Risk factors are flagged and reviewed by our team.

Once a project begins, the scope is locked. Changes require a formal request, protecting participants from scope creep.

Time is tracked through the platform and reviewed by the organization. We do not sell hours — they are earned through real work.

Deliverables are submitted, reviewed, and approved through the platform. The organization confirms completion before a record is issued.

Participants are never charged to access opportunities. Organizations pay a facilitation fee, not participants.

Participants under 18 require parental consent. We enforce additional protections for minors, including private profiles and restricted data access.

Anyone can report an opportunity, organization, or message. High-priority reports (payment requests, fake hours) are reviewed urgently.

If something goes wrong, our dispute resolution process helps participants and organizations reach a fair outcome.

Your personal information, school forms, and requirement documents are private. We do not expose guardian details or sensitive data.
