Academic Integrity Policy

1. Original Work Required
All submitted work must be the student's own. Plagiarism, AI-generated content presented as original work (where prohibited by the project), and submitting work completed by someone else are strictly prohibited.
2. AI Usage
Some projects may permit or restrict the use of AI tools. Each project specifies its AI policy. Students must follow the project's AI policy and disclose AI assistance where required.
3. Detection and Review
Serfolio staff review all submissions. We may use plagiarism detection tools and manual review to identify violations. Flagged submissions are reviewed by staff before a decision is made.
4. Consequences of Violations
Submissions that violate academic integrity will be rejected. Repeated violations may result in account termination and revocation of previously verified hours. Schools may be notified if fraudulent documentation was issued.
